Little Listeners: Storytime Fun for Toddlers and Caregivers

Little Listeners

The Department of Health is pleased to announce the launch of Little Listeners, a free interactive story time programme for children aged two to four and their caregivers. The first session will take place on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at the Florenz Webbe Maxwell Youth Library, on Church Street, from 10:00am to 11:00am, and will continue the first Tuesday of every month.

Led by Health Visitor Deana Roberts, the sessions will encourage early childhood development through stories, music, and playful activities. Little Listeners is designed to spark young imaginations, build social skills, and provide caregivers, including parents, grandparents, and nannies, with a welcoming space to connect with one another and with a Department of Health nurse.

The programme offers families a meaningful, no-cost activity that combines learning, fun, and community connection. Caregivers are encouraged to bring their toddlers to enjoy this new initiative.
