The Ministry of National Security is advising residents to prepare for unsettled weather conditions forecast by the Bermuda Weather Service (BWS), beginning tomorrow and continuing through the weekend.

According to the BWS, the island can expect gale force winds, cooler temperatures, and the possibility of thunder activity through Sunday evening. Weather conditions remain subject to change, and the system is being closely monitored.

Minister of National Security, Michael Weeks, said, “We are asking everyone to pay close attention to the forecast. As we saw last weekend, severe weather can cause disruptions, so residents and businesses should make sensible plans, secure their property where necessary, and avoid unnecessary risks. In particular, I urge motorists to travel with care if they must be on the roads.”

The Ministry encourages the public to stay informed by monitoring updates from the Bermuda Weather Service at weather.bm and through official Government communications channels.
