Over the weekend, Premier David Burt, along with his wife, Kristin Burt, and their children, spent Good Friday visiting communities across the island.
Throughout the day, the Premier and his family stopped at several clubs and gatherings, where families came together to mark the occasion. From kites in the air to the usual food and music, the day reflected the traditions that continue to shape Good Friday in Bermuda.
At each stop, the Premier took time to speak with residents and organisers, recognising the effort that goes into keeping these events going year after year.
Premier Burt said, “Whether for religious or cultural reasons, celebrating Good Friday in Bermuda is one of the island’s most widely shared experiences. It was good to see families out, enjoying the day and keeping these traditions alive.”
