Empowering Voices Come Together in Final Part of Women’s Leadership Series

The third and final instalment of the “Paying It Forward: Women's Voices | Global Lessons” series concluded on Thursday, 10 July at BEDC's Sophia House, bringing together an audience of students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. Inspired by the International Women’s Leadership Conference held in Dubai, this luncheon series has offered a powerful platform for local women leaders to share key insights, tools, and takeaways from the global stage, translating international leadership lessons into meaningful local impact.
“This series has been a celebration of women’s leadership in action, across borders, cultures, and communities,” said the Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, the Hon. Tinee Furbert, JP, MP. “What has been shared over these three sessions is more than just knowledge, it is empowerment. These local leaders have demonstrated how we can translate global lessons into practical tools that not only uplift individuals but strengthen our entire community. The conversations sparked here will no doubt echo far beyond today.”
This final session featured compelling reflections and stories from women who attended the Dubai conference, offering practical advice and encouragement for those on their own leadership journey. Attendees were invited to connect, reflect, and be inspired to continue building leadership capacity within Bermuda. With an atmosphere of collaboration, the event fostered both personal growth and professional empowerment.
