DRAFT ADMIRALTY HOUSE MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment invites public feedback on the Admiralty House Park Draft Management Plan 2026. Submissions can be entered at forum.gov.bm or at the offices of the Department of Parks at 43 Church Street on the ground floor of the Global House Building. The office is open from 9:00am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Consultation will end on 20th February, 2026.
Key priorities include protecting historic structures and naval heritage, conserving native habitats, improving safety and accessibility, and enhancing visitor facilities in an environmentally responsible way. Environmental actions proposed in the plan include restoring native vegetation, managing invasive species, strengthening coastal resilience and promoting sustainable practices across park operations. The plan also outlines measures to protect sensitive ecosystems and respond to the impacts of climate change. To improve the visitor experience, the plan identifies potential upgrades to pathways, signage, safety features and amenities, with an emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility. Enhancements are intended to support safe, low-impact recreation while safeguarding the park’s natural and historic assets.
