This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Roof and Wall Cladding at the Tyne's Bay Saltwater Reverse Osmosis Plant as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

Careful removal and disposal of the existing metal wall and roof cladding, door frames, louvre vents, rainwater gutters and down pipes as detailed on the drawings.

Thereafter the contractor shall provide labor and materials pertaining to new metal roof and wall cladding, door frames, louvre vents, rainwater gutter and downpipe installation as specified herein, while complying with all applicable building codes.

Metal roof and wall panels to be supplied by MBCI, type PBR, 26 gauge, HDG produced to ASTM A653/A653M-G90 (or equal approved).

On completion the contractor is to provide a 20 year weather tightness warranty for the metal roof cladding system.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting 

The mandatory site visits will be held on Wednesday October 08, 2025 at 10:00AM at the location of Tyne’s Bay Salt Water Reverse Osmosis Plant 45 North Shore Road Devonshire. Failure to be present at the site visit and sign in will result in the disqualification of your document submission.
