This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Mitigation of Agricultural Runoff from Green Land Dairy, Smith's Parish, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The Green Land Dairy Farm in Smith’s Parish sits on land that drains downslope into the Railway Trail and nearby residential properties.

A Contractor is required to install a series of stone barriers and soak-a-ways north of the cow shed to capture, slow, and filter runoff before it reaches the Railway Trail.

The Objectives of the project are to: 

• Stop contaminated runoff from reaching the Railway Trail and neighbouring properties.
• Use simple, durable methods: stone barriers, soak-a-ways, grading, and vegetation.
• Provide a long-term solution that is cost-effective and easy to maintain.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting
