The Government represented by the Ministry of National Security (“Government”) seeks a proposal to upgrade and expand the existing Closed Circuit Television (“CCTV”) system being managed by the Bermuda Police Service (“BPS”).

The Government of Bermuda is seeking to expand and maintain its programmes to monitor, manage and change behaviours in offenders, with the protection of the community as the primary consideration. Electronic monitoring involves having an electronic bracelet (device) attached to an offender, deemed to need of intensive monitoring, and/or having restrictions placed on their movements.

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Modifying a Payment Gateway Open-Source Code, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Government of Bermuda seeks to modify the open-source code of GOV.UK Pay for local use on the gov.bm. The objective is to provide the public with a consistent and uniform experience when paying online.

Background and Scope
Department of Corrections (DOC) presently operates 3 facilities with an average houses population of 125 inmates whose call volume varied based on the population.

The previous service allow for wall mounted phones and no TTY phones. Inmates have the ability to pay for telephone services through a commissary vendor.

The Government of Bermuda is seeking the services of qualified contractors for the servicing of the Fire Protection Systems and Exit and Emergency Lighting at the Tynes Bay WTE Facility at 31 Palmetto Road, Devonshire.
